Every figure here was copied off a vendor’s own pricing page, with the toggles operated, on the day printed beside it.

Who writes this, and the rules it is written under

A small independent desk that prices agency reporting software and shows its working.

Reportroom is a small independent publication about one narrow thing: the software agencies use to report search performance to clients, and what it costs once you divide by the clients. It is not owned by, funded by or affiliated with any vendor named on it.

The rules this site is written under

Prices are readings, not claims. Every figure carries the day it was copied from the vendor's own page. Where a page has a monthly and annual toggle, both states are recorded. Where a page draws its prices with JavaScript, it is opened in a browser rather than guessed at. The full working, vendor by vendor, is kept in the site's own notes file and summarised on every page that uses it.

Gaps are published, not filled. When a vendor does not print a price, this site says so. When a vendor's own columns cannot be reconciled — an annual total that does not match the monthly figure beside it, a saving that implies a price the card never shows — we print the contradiction rather than pick whichever number makes the table tidy.

Nothing here has been tested. No tool on this site has been run against a real client roster by anyone writing it. So there are no hours-saved figures, no accuracy comparisons and no retention statistics. Vendors make those claims on their own pages; when one is worth reporting, it is quoted and attributed as the vendor's claim.

Free is allowed to win. Looker Studio, Search Console and Screaming Frog's free crawler pay this site nothing and are recommended wherever they are the right answer, which for a small roster they often are.

What this site does not cover

It does not cover SEO tactics, agency sales, or how to do the search work itself. It does not rank SEO suites as suites, or keyword tools, or rank trackers on their own merits — those are whole categories with their own questions. And it does not cover white-label website building or white-label hosting, which are different businesses that happen to share a word.

Corrections

Prices move, plans get renamed and pricing pages get rebuilt. If a figure here is out of date or wrong, write to the room with the page and the vendor URL and it will be re-read at source. Corrections are made in the text rather than in a footnote, and the reading date changes with them.
