SEO reporting software, priced by the thing it actually meters
Six platforms that build a client's monthly SEO report, compared on the only two questions that decide the bill: what the meter counts, and whether your name goes on the cover for free. Every price below was copied off the vendor's own page on 24 September 2026, with the billing toggle operated.
In this report
Cost per client per month, US dollars on annual billing: SE Ranking Core + Agency Pack ÷ 10 projects: $17.22. DashThis Professional ÷ 10 dashboards: $13.90. DashThis Business ÷ 25 dashboards: $11.16. SE Ranking Growth + Agency Pack ÷ 30 projects: $9.74. DashThis Standard ÷ 50 dashboards: $8.58. AgencyAnalytics, per client, no division needed: $20.00.
An agency does not buy SEO reporting software for the data. Search Console and Analytics already hand you most of what goes in a monthly report, and they cost nothing. What you are buying is the collecting, the scheduling, the place the client logs in — and the cover the whole thing arrives under. That is why the figures on this page are divided by clients, projects, dashboards and data sources rather than listed as plan prices: the plan price tells you almost nothing until you know what it is a price of.
Six platforms are compared here. Two of them can pay us a commission, and neither is at the top of the page. The one we would hand to most agencies pays us nothing at all.
The six, and what each one counts
Read the middle column first. Every one of these tools produces a recognisable monthly SEO report; what separates them is the unit that goes up when you win a client. AgencyAnalytics counts clients. SE Ranking counts projects. DashThis counts dashboards, and tells you plainly that a dashboard is one report. Swydo refuses to count clients at all and counts connected accounts instead. Databox counts users and data sources, then sells clients separately in packs whose price it does not print. Whatagraph counts source credits and sells by demo.
| Platform | What the meter counts | Entry price, annual billing | Entry price, monthly billing | Branding included? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AgencyAnalytics | Clients | $20 per client, per month | $25 per client, per month | Yes — logo, colours, custom domain and custom email are all listed as included |
| SE Ranking | Projects | $103.20 a month (Core, 10 projects) | $129.00 a month | No — white label is the Agency Pack at $69 a month, annual billing only |
| DashThis | Dashboards (one dashboard = one report) | $139 a month (Professional, 10 dashboards) | $164 a month | Yes — your logo sits in the top-left of the dashboard |
| Swydo | Data sources (one connected account each) | €62 a month, first 10 sources included | €69 a month | Yes — full white-labeling is listed in the single plan |
| Databox | Users, data sources and AI credits | $79 a month (Agency), plus client packs | $99 a month, plus client packs | Not stated on the pricing page |
| Whatagraph | Source credits (one connected account each) | from €699 a month (Max) | Not published — both plans are billed annually | Yes — white-label reports are listed on Max |
Two currencies appear in that table on purpose. Swydo and Whatagraph publish in euros and offered no dollar list on the day they were read; the others publish in dollars. Those are separate price lists, not conversions of one another, so nothing here has been converted. A comparison table without a stated currency is comparing two different products.
AgencyAnalytics: one rate, and the division is already done
AgencyAnalytics is the simplest bill in the category and, for most agencies under about twenty-five clients, the one we would start with. There is a single plan at $20 per client, per month on annual billing. Operate the page's own billing toggle and the figure becomes $25. Everything the platform does is in that rate — the feature table marks branded logo, branded colour scheme, client branding, custom domain, custom email, the client access portal and unlimited staff and client users all as included, with no tier above them to buy.
Two add-ons sit outside it. An AI Tracker, in beta, is $20.83 a month per 250 credits on annual billing, or $25 monthly. A Rank Tracker is $41.67 a month per 500 keywords annually, or $50 monthly. Note what that second one implies: the rank data most agencies think of as the core of an SEO report is not in the base rate here. Above 25 clients the page stops printing figures and asks you to contact sales.
There is one thing about the page you should know before you read it yourself. Its own source carries the strings for a seasonal promotion — a countdown in days, hours, minutes and seconds, and the line "Lowest price of the year!" — none of which was on display on 24 September 2026. If you land on it mid-promotion, the number you write down will not be the standing price. And when you operate the toggle to see the monthly rate, the caption underneath stubbornly keeps reading "billed annually". We print both figures and name the control that produced each rather than guess which caption is right.
SE Ranking: a full suite, with the agency cover sold separately
SE Ranking is a complete SEO platform first and a reporting tool second, which makes it the right shape for an agency that wants one subscription instead of two. Core is $129.00 a month, or $103.20 a month billed annually, and carries 10 projects with one manager seat, 2,000 keywords tracked daily and 250,000 pages a month of auditing. Growth is $279.00 a month, or $223.20 annually, and carries 30 projects, three manager seats and 5,000 daily keywords.
Neither includes white label. That lives in the Agency Pack, an add-on at $69.00 a month which the page marks "Annual billing only" — so an agency that wants its own branding on SE Ranking is also an agency committing for a year. The pack brings 30 projects and 30 client seats with it, plus unlimited scheduled reporting. Put Growth and the pack together on annual billing and you are at $292.20 a month for 30 projects, which is $9.74 each: the cheapest per-client line anywhere on this page. Put Core and the pack together and it is $172.20 for ten, or $17.22 each — worse than buying AgencyAnalytics by the client. The pack rewards a full roster and punishes a thin one.

DashThis: the report is the unit
DashThis is the clearest thinking in the category about what it is selling, and it says so on the pricing page: "With DashThis, a dashboard is simply one marketing report." So the meter is the deliverable. Individual is $44 a month on annual billing, or $54 monthly, for three dashboards and fifteen sources. Professional is $139 annually or $164 monthly for 10 dashboards and forty sources. Business is $279 or $324 for 25 dashboards and a hundred sources. Standard starts at $429 or $499 for 50 dashboards and two hundred sources.
Above that the page keeps going and stops telling you anything: the Standard card carries selectors reaching 1,500 dashboards and 6,000 sources, and prints no price for a single step beyond the first. So the honest answer for a large roster is that DashThis's price is not published. Every "Save $X/yr" on the page does reconcile exactly against the two prices beside it, which is more than can be said for some of its competitors.
Swydo: priced by the connection, not the client
Swydo takes the opposite position to AgencyAnalytics and states it on the page: "No per-client fees", "Unlimited clients, users, dashboards & reports", "Swydo charges by data source, not by client." The base is €69 a month, or €62 billed annually, with the first ten data sources included. After that it is €4.50 each up to a hundred, €3.00 each up to five hundred and €2.00 each beyond that. A data source is one connected account, and the page's own example is the useful one: ten clients connected to both Google Ads and Facebook Ads is twenty data sources.
For an SEO-only agency that is a good deal, because an SEO client often needs two connections — Search Console and Analytics — where a paid-media client needs five. Swydo also prints an illustrative per-client figure of €12.15 a month on its own page, but that number moves with a control the visitor sets, so treat it as the vendor's illustration rather than a price. Full white-labeling is listed inside the single plan.
Databox: a real free tier, and a client price it will not print
Databox is the only platform here with a genuinely free plan — $0 a month, one user, three data sources — which makes it a reasonable way to see whether a dashboard changes your client conversations before you pay for anything. Analyst is $71 a month annually or $89 monthly. Team is $199 annually or $249 monthly for three users and ten data sources.
The agency plan is where it goes quiet. It starts at $79 a month on annual billing or $99 monthly, and the card says "plus client packs as you grow" without printing what a client pack costs. That is not a criticism of the software; it is a reason you cannot budget from the website, and it is why Databox does not appear in the chart at the top of this page. If you are shortlisting it, the first email to sales should be about the pack, not the plan.
Whatagraph: the top of the market, by appointment
Whatagraph has two plans and sells neither self-serve. Max starts at €699 a month, billed annually, and lists white-label reports, data groups and blends and a dedicated success manager. Prime is custom, also billed annually, and adds a custom report domain, public API access and transfers to BigQuery and Looker. No monthly-billed price exists for either. The page defines its usage unit — one source credit is one connected data account — but does not say how many credits each plan carries, so an agency cannot size itself against the price before the call.
This is the right tool for a specific agency: large, multi-client, already paying someone to maintain reporting, and more worried about governance than about €699. For everyone else the annual-only commitment is a real cost, not a detail.
Semrush's report add-ons, for agencies already paying Semrush
If you already run Semrush, you may not need a second subscription — but you will need an add-on, and it is worth knowing which. On the pricing page, two of the four add-ons are reporting. Base Report is $10 a month and covers data from more than twenty Semrush tools, Analytics and Search Console integrations, monthly, weekly or daily scheduling, PDF export and sharing with other Semrush users. Pro Report is $20 a month and adds external integrations, delivery at a chosen time, AI summaries, sharing by link — and branding and white-labeling.
So on Semrush, putting your own name on a client report is a $20-a-month line item that is not inside any of the four plans. That is the single most useful thing to know before you assume your existing suite has agency reporting covered. Which Semrush plan to buy, and whether to buy Semrush at all, is a different question and not one this page answers.

What we could not reconcile, and did not fill in
Three gaps are worth naming, because a comparison that quietly papers over them is less useful than one that does not.
- Databox's client packs. No figure on the page. We do not estimate one.
- DashThis above fifty dashboards. Selectors run to 1,500; prices stop at the first step.
- Whatagraph's credit allowances. The unit is defined, the quantity per plan is not.
There is a fourth, smaller one. AgencyAnalytics' FAQ still refers to "unlimited dashboards on Agency and Agency Pro plans" — plan names that no longer exist on the pricing table above it. It changes nothing about the price, but it tells you how recently the page was checked by the people who own it.
Choosing, by the size of the roster
Under about ten clients. AgencyAnalytics at $20 per client, per month, and stop thinking about it. Below ten clients every plan-priced tool is more expensive per client than paying by the client, and AgencyAnalytics needs no add-on to put your name on the report. If money is genuinely tight, build the first few reports in Looker Studio for nothing and buy software when the assembly time hurts.
Ten to thirty clients, SEO only. This is where SE Ranking Growth plus the Agency Pack wins on arithmetic — $9.74 per project per month, with the rank tracking and site auditing you would otherwise buy separately. The catch is the annual commitment the Agency Pack forces. If you cannot commit for a year, DashThis Business at $11.16 per dashboard is the next line down and has no lock-in.
Thirty clients and up, or paid media alongside SEO. Swydo's data-source model stops punishing you for winning clients, and Databox's agency plan may be cheaper still if the pack price comes back sensible. Whatagraph is worth the call only if governance and blended data are the actual problem.
Already on Semrush. Add Pro Report at $20 a month before you buy anything else, see whether the reports your clients get are good enough, and only then go shopping.
