What this site collects, which is close to nothing

This is a static site made of plain files. There is no login, no account, no comment system and no mailing list. Nothing on these pages asks you for an email address, because there is nothing here that would send you one.

Server logs

The web server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary access records: the page requested, the time, an IP address, and the browser's user-agent string. That is how any web server works and it is what allows the site to be kept online and defended from abuse. These records are not joined to anything else and are not sold.

Cookies

None are written from this domain. There is no advertising network here, no retargeting pixel and no embedded social widget, so nothing exists to write one. A cookie in your browser after reading these pages arrived from somewhere else.

Analytics

If basic visitor measurement is added later, it will be a privacy-respecting, aggregate measure without cross-site tracking, and this page will be updated to name it before it is switched on.

Leaving here for a vendor

Some links here go to a vendor through an address beginning /go/. That address redirects and records nothing on this site. What happens next is the vendor's business, under the vendor's own privacy policy: they may set cookies, they may attribute a later sign-up to this site, and they will treat your data according to their own terms. Which links can pay us is set out on the disclosure page.

Children

This is a trade publication about agency software. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anybody knowingly.
